My story
I came to this work the hard way - and stayed because of what I found.
A slipped disc. Spine surgery. And appointment after appointment of conflicting information, where movement professionals didn't know how to help me move better - and it felt like no one really knew what was going on, or how to help me. I know what it's like to be handed exercises, told to strengthen my core, and quietly wonder why nothing was changing.
Pilates changed how I moved, healed and lived - so I went all in. But the more I worked with people in chronic pain, the ones who'd tried everything, done the physio, attended the classes and were still stuck, the more I realised something was missing.
The missing piece was the nervous system. Back pain isn't just a structural problem - it's your body's response to signals. And if you want to change it, you need to work with the brain as much as the body. That realisation sent me deep into neuroscience and neuro-informed movement. It changed how I teach, how I programme, and how I talk about pain. And it's what makes my studio, Flex & Reset Pilates, and my movement practice so different.
I'm based in Crystal Palace, SE London. I run my own studio - Flex & Reset Pilates - and offer 1:1 sessions in London. I care deeply about helping you feel more connected, stronger and more confident in your body - fewer what ifs, less wondering what might set it off, and a way to move better and more confidently.
